RHTLaw Taylor Wessing strengthens its Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency capability with appointment of partner Zachary Scully

RHTLaw Taylor Wessing has further bolstered its corporate restructuring and insolvency practice with the appointment of partner Zachary Scully. He brings over 2 decades of experience and is qualified to practice law in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. Zachary has diversified expertise gathered from both private practice as well as from being General Counsel in an Oil and Gas public listed company based in Malaysia. His other areas of practice include dispute resolution and corporate commercial matters where he regularly advises clients on cross-border transactions, joint ventures, corporate finance, investments, trust structures and other commercial agreements.

In the recent annual conference organized by the firm, RHT ASEAN Summit 2019, held on 17 October 2019, Zachary moderated a panel discussion on Insolvency and Restructuring with other industry experts of the field and the discussion has garnered tremendous interest from the attendees. This addition comes in timely in line with the initiative of the Singapore government to position Singapore as a Legal and Dispute Resolution Hub and the implementation of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.

Zachary will be working with Nandakumar Renganathan, partner and deputy head and Sharon Chong, partner from the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice to augment the firm’s Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency capabilities.
