Partner from the Litigation & Dispute Resolutions and Aviation practice, Rajaram Ramiah was conferred this year’s National Day Honours and awarded the Public Service Star (BBM). This was announced in conjunction with Singapore’s 2019 National Day celebrations.
The award was for Rajaram’s public service with the Ministry of Social and Family Development as the Chairman of the Review Board (Children & Young Persons). Rajaram is currently serving his 9th year as Chairman of the Review Board.
About the Public Service Star
The Bintang Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Star), instituted in 1963, is awarded to any person who has rendered valuable public service to the people of Singapore, or who has distinguished himself in the field of arts and letters, sports, the sciences, business, the professions and the labour movement.
